Frequently Asked Questions

People who value their health, their time and who are interested in receiving individualized attention in a private, friendly and unhurried environment will benefit from our services.

Why is Private Physician Services different?

At Private Physician Services, we believe in a better way to practice medicine — one that truly focuses on you, the patient. Unlike many concierge practices, we bring the highest level of medical training and experience to our care. Our team includes physicians trained at top institutions such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Cornell, and Stockton — ensuring the highest standard of expertise.

We go beyond the typical concierge model by providing hospital care services. This means that if you need to be admitted to a hospital, we’ll continue to provide care, bridging the gap between outpatient and inpatient treatment. Our doctors are not just available for office visits; they are actively involved in your care during hospital stays, ensuring seamless continuity and the best possible outcomes.

Additionally, each patient at PPS receives a truly personalized care plan that takes into account not only their medical history but also mental, emotional, and overall well-being. We focus on preventative care, using our comprehensive knowledge to help you stay healthy and live life to the fullest, not just longer.

Who will benefit the most from Private Physician Services?

People who value their health, their time and who are interested in receiving individualized attention in a private, friendly and unhurried environment will benefit from our services.

Will I lose my Medicare Benefits?

Patients with Medicare will continue to enjoy their Medicare benefits for services outside of the office or outside the scope of Private Physician Services. Medicare will work in its usual fashion when patients are hospitalized, see a specialist or perform testing outside the office.

Do you accept insurance?

Private Physician Services operates on a direct care model. We do not bill insurance, which allows us to spend more time with you and focus on care — not paperwork. You can still use your insurance for labs, imaging, specialists, and hospital visits.

What does the membership fee include?

Your membership provides unlimited office visits, same or next-day appointments, direct communication with your physician, extended visit times, and a strong focus on preventive and wellness care.

Can I still keep my current specialist?

Absolutely. We encourage collaboration with your specialists. Private Physician Service will coordinate your care, share records, and ensure that every part of your treatment plan works together seamlessly.

What if I need to be hospitalized?

If hospitalization is required, Your Private Physician will admit you and lead the hospital team and specialists to ensure your continuity of care. You will never be left navigating the system alone.

Can I contact my physician after hours?

Yes. One of the greatest benefits of Private Physician Service membership is direct access. You can reach your physician by phone, text, or email for urgent needs or guidance outside of office hours.
